The third event of the Do Big Symposium series presented by Tata Tele Business Services and powered by CNBC TV18, was held in Kolkata at the Taj Bengal on December 18th 2015, continuing with the theme “Digital Disruption - A CEO’s Agenda”. The event was attended by over 250 people.

Mr. Hemant Kanoria is a founding trustee of Kanoria Foundation, and the Chairman & Managing Director of SREI Infrastructure Finance Limited. Hemant along with his brother Sunil co-founded the organization 25 years ago at a time of India's most urgent call for infrastructural development. Beginning as an equipment financing company in 1989, SREI has expanded into a holistic infrastructure institution offering a wide spectrum of infrastructure products and services ranging from financing of infrastructure equipment and projects project advisory, fund management, investment banking and project development & management. With an employee-strength of about 6,500 in the group today, it has an asset base of USD 10 billion.
Shri Debashis Sen joined the IAS in 1985. He graduated from Presidency College, Kolkata and got his post-M.Sc. Diploma from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics. He got his Diploma in Public Administration from ENA, France. Shri Sen has served in various capacities including District Magistrate for more than five years and Chief Electoral Officer for five years. He is presently posted as Principal Secretary in Urban Development Department of the Govt of West Bengal. He is also holding the posts of Chairman, HIDCO, Chairman, New Kolkata Development Authority and Chairman, Digha Shankarpur Development Authority.
Mr. Swaraj Krishnan - (MD & CEO Insurance Joint Venture, Magma HDI General Insurance Company Limited)
Mr. Swaraj Krishnan is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of the Insurance Joint Venture, Magma HDI General Insurance Company Limited. Mr. Krishnan is a Masters in Business Economics and has obtained Certificate of Reinsurance from Chartered Insurance Institute, London. He has over 31 years of experience and has held positions such as Head of Claims and CEO in PSU and MNC insurance companies. Magma HDI offers all General Insurance products across market segments, specially in the retail segment catering to semi urban and rural markets leveraging mainly on the spread and reach of Magma Fincorp.
Mr. Keshav Bhajanka is a meritorious graduate of Warwick University, UK, in Bachelors of Accounts and Finance. He also topped Class 12th in 2007 from The Cambridge School, Calcutta. Keshav started his career as the Director-in-Charge of Decorative Business, CenturyPly, Kolkata, in 2010. He initiated many new projects of the company which includes Nesta, Exteria and the supply chain management project of the decorative business.
Mr. N Srinath - (Managing Director Tata Teleservices Limited & Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited)
Mr. N Srinath is the Managing Director of Tata Teleservices Limited and Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) limited. With around 30 years of experience within the Tata Group, he has held various leadership positions across Tata companies and has received several recognitions in the telecom industry. In 2008 and 2009, he was named as the world’s eighth most influential telecom personality by the Global Telecoms Business magazine as well as the ‘Telecom Person of the Year’ by the India-based Voice and Data magazine in 2008. He was named the ‘Telecom CEO of the Year’ in Asia by the leading publishing group Telecom Asia in 2006. In the same year he was also conferred the Udyog Rattan Award by the Institute of Economic Studies (IES).Prior to joining Tata Teleservices, he was the Managing Director and CEO of Tata Communications (erstwhile VSNL). Presently, he also serves as a Director on the Board of Tata Business Support Services (TBSS), Honeywell Automation India Limited, Viom Networks, Tata Communications and its related entities. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, specializing in marketing and systems.
