The digital revolution has intersected every business vertical across the industry, and is here to stay. The final event of the Do Big Symposium season 9 presented by Tata Tele Business Services & powered by CNBC-TV18 was held in Kolkata at Taj Bengal on 15th December, 2016. The event commenced with the keynote address delivered by Kaushik Banerjee, President and CEO of Asset Finance, Magma Fincorp Ltd. He quoted, “Enterprises need to continuously revisit their business model and avoid complacency.” He further added that this needs to be done in order to reap digital dividends for organisations. As the keynote address concluded, Mr. Prateek Pashine, President Enterprise, Tata Tele Business Services took the stage to present Tata Tele Business Services’ view on Digital Dividends: A Leader’s Perspective. This was followed by a panel discussion on “Digital Dividends: A Leader’s Perspective’. The panel consisted of Shitanshu Jhunjhunwalla, Director of Turtle Ltd., Gyanesh Chaudhary, MD and CEO of Vikram Solar Pvt. Ltd., Keshav Bhajanka – Director of CenturyPly, Suvankar Sen – Executive Director of Senco and Harjit Singh Chauhan – Head – SME Operations, Enterprise Business, Tata Teleservices Ltd. The event was brought to a close by a vote of thanks and summary of the evening’s proceedings delivered by Abhimanyu Radhakrishnan.

Kaushik Banerjee is the President & CEO – Asset Finance of Magma Fincorp Ltd, a leading Non-Banking Finance Company in India. Magma operates through 273 branches in 25 states, employs about 9000 people and has assets under management of nearly Rs 18,000 crore. Magma offers a wide bouquet of services including Asset finance, SME Finance, Affordable Home Finance and General Insurance (through a JV with HDI Gerling, a German Insurer). Kaushik Banerjee is an alumnus of La Martinere for Boys Kolkata. He completed his B.Com from Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics, Mumbai followed by an MBA in Marketing from the Asian Institute of Management Manila, Philippines. Kaushik has spent 25 years in the retail financial services industry, having begun his career with ITC Classic Finance. He spent 7 years with Esanda Finanz (a subsidiary of ANZ Grindlays Bank), followed by a 14 year stint with Chola Finance, where he joined as CMO - Westand rose to become President – Asset Finance, based in Chennai. His last position in Chola was in Mumbai as President – Strategy & Corporate Affairs. During his tenure in Chola, Kaushik successfully grew the asset book from Rs.1000 crores to Rs.17500 crores and established Chola as a leading financier of commercial vehicles with leadership in Light & Small commercial vehicles. He also expanded the branch network from under 100 to over 500 with a team of over 12500. He broad based the product mix by introducing Used vehicles, Tractors, and Construction Equipment and ensured that Chola enjoyed a reputation of consistently delivering superior portfolio quality.
Mr. Keshav Bhajanka is a meritorious graduate from Warwick University, UK in Bachelors of Accounts and Finance in 2010. He also topped Class Twelfth in the year 2007 from The Cambridge School, Calcutta. He started his career as the Director-In-Charge of Decorative Business of CenturyPly, headquartered in Kolkata, in 2010. Within a short span of time, Keshav today is the man behind many successful projects of the company which includes Exteria exterior laminates,and the supply chain management project of the decorative business. Keshav’s aim is to make Century Ply one the Fortune 500 companies by 2020 and to double the capacity of Laminates in India.
